Marie Claire UK shared this cute quote from Eddie!
Eddie Redmayne’s girlfriend is the envy of thousands of women – including a few female members of airline cabin crews, if the actor’s latest comments are anything to go by.
The gorgeous Brit actor has modelled a selection of new season outfits for GQ magazine in the US, and has spoken about how he’s admired by women – even in his sleep.
Recalling the hilarious anecdote of a recent flight, the 31-year-old said: ‘I fell asleep, and when I woke up the man next to me asked, “Excuse me, are you someone important?”
Eddie adds: ‘I must have looked confused. He explained: “I’m asking because the stewardesses came over and were watching you sleep”.’
We imagine Eddie’s publicist girlfriend Hannah Bagshawe is feeling pretty smug at this moment, for she’s lucky enough to watch the actor alleging as often as she likes. Sigh.
The pair caused a Twitter storm when they arrived in the royal box at Wimbledon earlier this week, with Eddie looking dashing in a bespoke tailored blue suit from high street retailer Reiss and Hannah looking equally gorgeous – but low-key – in a floaty blue dress.
Eddie might be loved-up with Hannah, but he’s not such a ladies man when it comes to the big screen. Discussing the fact he’s been cast as an infatuated hopeless romantic in both Les Miserables and My Week WIth Marilyn, he said: ‘Maybe, I just seem really unlucky in love?’
Somehow, we think Hannah and Eddie’s adoring fans the world over would argue otherwise…
