Eddie's work in raising awareness of this brutal disease is "one very close to my heart". He has lent his voice to help raise awareness of the illness and was apart of their "My Eyes Say" campaign in 2017. MNDA is the only national charity in England, Wales and Northern Ireland focused on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by MND. |

Everyone’s in love with Old Etonian Eddie Redmayne. He played Angel Clare in Tess of the D’Urbervilles, Stephen Wraysford, the lovestruck lieutenant, in Birdsong and his freckled cheekbones alone were probably enough to land him a campaign with Burberry.
He is great friends with Tom Sturridge, Benedict Cumberbatch and Robert Pattinson, has a terrible memory and says his greatest acting feat was doing work experience in a bank, ‘having to pretend I knew what a share was when I didn’t have a clue’.
