I love this article from the Daily Mail about how Hannah keeps Eddie grounded … love his newly wed stories that he has been sharing lately!

He’s been tipped for an Oscar for his winning portrayal of Stephen Hawking in The Theory Of Everything.

But that doesn’t mean that Eddie Redmayne can ignore the dirty dishes, at least if his new wife Hannah Bagshawe has anything to do with it.

‘There was a moment yesterday where I was in rehearsal and my wife was calling me because our dishwasher broke down,’ Eddie told E! News.

‘So in the process of trying to focus on my craft, I was dealing with the blocked pipes,’ he added.

Eddie, who wed Hannah last month, also revealed that he’s been rehearsing for his next film.

‘I haven’t worked since The Theory of Everything, so it’s good to go back and remind myself this is what I do,’ he said.Eddie Redmayne & wife at the 2015 Golden Globe Awards

Eddie’s next film The Danish Girl features him as transgender pioneer Einar Wegener and is based on a 2000 novel by David Ebershoff.

The novel was inspired by the true story story of the Danish painter who in the 1930s became one of the first recipients of sex reassignment surgery and his California-born wife.

The film by Les Miserables and The King’s Speech director Tom Hooper is due out in 2016.

Eddie was named outstanding actor on Sunday at the Screen Actors Guild Awards and earlier this month won the award for best actor at the Golden Globe Awards.

‘I’d like to dedicate the award to those people around the world living with ALS, to those who have lost their lives to this brutal disease,’ Eddie said while accepting the SAG Award.

The last 10 actors to win the Screen Actors Guild Award for best actor have gone on to win the Oscar in the category.

Eddie has received critical acclaim for his portrayal of scientist Stephen Hawking in The Theory Of Everything.

He has been nominated for an Oscar for his peformance and also for a BAFTA Award.

Eddie met Hannah while studying at Eton College and the longtime couple in May announced their engagement.
