Eddie's work in raising awareness of this brutal disease is "one very close to my heart". He has lent his voice to help raise awareness of the illness and was apart of their "My Eyes Say" campaign in 2017. MNDA is the only national charity in England, Wales and Northern Ireland focused on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by MND. |

Just one year after his transformative performance as Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything—a role that earned him an Academy Award—Eddie Redmayne is back with another role that requires the British actor to change shape before our eyes. In The Danish Girl (out November 27th), Redmayne portrays Einar Wegener, the first person to ever receive a sex change operation and is already receiving a hefty amount of speculation that this could earn him another Oscar. We caught up with Redmayne, who graces the cover of our December/January 2016 issue, and talked about his love of melted cheese, celebrity Halloween parties, and his favorite part of Oscar night.
