Aparecium! With Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them creeping up on us quicker than Dobby on roller skates, it’s only good and proper that we plaster the film over our latest issue. You’ve already seen our subscribers’ cover in all its Thunderbird-y glory, and now it’s time to unveil the second part of our beastly trifecta before revealing the extremely limited edition video cover in a few days.
Front and centre, of course, is Eddie Redmayne’s magizoologist Newt Scamander, clutching both mysterious case and wand. And no, before you ask, that isn’t Baby Groot in his pocket – it’s a new little beastie called Bowtruckle.
Flanked by a new batch of cinematic Rowling characters, Newt is joined – from left to right – by Jacob Kowalski (Dan Fogler), Queenie Goldstein (Alison Sudol), Porpentina Goldstein (Katherine Waterston), and Percival Graves (Colin Farrell).
As we announced earlier this week, Empire will be producing the world’s very first moving cover, similar to Harry Potter’s Daily Prophet. Keep your eyes peeled for that unveiling on Wednesday…
Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them is released in cinemas on 18 November.
Fancy getting each issue of Empire without having to pop down to your local newsagent? Then why not subscribe to guarantee early delivery as well as a unique cover each month.
